1.- Click “Tools”
2.- Click “Coupons Manager”
3.- Click “Add New Coupon”
4.- Add the code that will be used to activaate this coupon.
5.- Then add the internal coupon name.
6.- Click Continue.
7.- Select the coupon logic, Regular is fine for most uses.
8.- Select the coupon type, either a One time coupon or a Repeatable coupon.
9.- Click Continue.
10.- You can define a % discount (all this discounts are only on the Room Rate).
11.- You can also define a fixed $ amount.
12.- You can also give out a free night. Defining “Nights Limit” to how many nights they have to stay, to get a “free night”.
13.- In this case, they will get 1 free night if they stay 7 nights.
14 .- Another option is a nighty $ discount, this will discount a fixed amount to every night for a reservation.
15.- Once you have defined one of your discount methods, click “Continue.
16.- Click “Sale Date”. This is the date range when the coupon can be applied to the reservation.
17.- Define your sale date.
18.- Now select your Season. This is what reservations will be able to be eligible for this coupon.
If you select Creation Date, any reservations created within this period will be eligble for the coupon.
If you select “Check In”, any reservations that will check-in during this dates will be eligible for the coupon.
19.- Select how many nights are required to be eligible, and how many nights max will be allowed for this coupon.
Then click Continue.
20.- Select the properties applicable.
21.- Click Continue.
22.- Select reservation types applicable.
23.- Click Continue.
24.- Select Reservation sources aplicable.
25.- Click Continue.
26.- Select Coupon Status at creation.
27.- Submit.
